We held a major milestone in Trime’s journey, our first ever in-person and remote volunteer training. And it was nothing short of powerful.
Led by our co-founder and certified domestic abuse specialist Lejla Dauti, the training focused on a topic central to our mission:
Understanding Domestic Abuse within the Albanian Community.
But this wasn’t just about information. It was about intention. It was about creating a space where Albanian women from across generations, professions, and personal journeys could come together, not just to learn, but to connect, reflect, and rise as a unified force.
This wasn’t just a training. It was a moment.A moment of clarity.A moment of purpose.A moment that reminded every one of us exactly why Trime exists.
To see our team, some in the room, others joining virtually, all leaning into the same mission: to serve, to listen, to uplift, was nothing short of emotional.
We are beyond proud of the women on our volunteer team. They are the heart of this movement. They show up with knowledge, with heart, and with power.
And this is just the beginning.
With women like this beside us, we know we’re not just creating safe spaces.
We’re creating lasting change.
Thank you to every single volunteer who joined us and continues to walk this journey with Trime.
Your energy is felt, your voice is valued, and your presence matters.
